Camp Confidential (Grace's Twist)

In the book camp confidential it is about a girl whose parents send her to camp to see if she can gain some confidence. The quote in the book that really jumps out to me is “Always stay focused on something you want and it will happen”. I really like that quote because it shows that by staying positive and focused things you want in life will happen for you. I listen to that quote because it helps me realized that by staying focused and positive that I can do anything I want and it helps me realized that I came to far now to turn around I’m in college now and by staying focused I been getting good grade. In the end of the book the girl does gain confidence, I’m also like that girl because it seems like every year I gain more and more confidence to know that I can do anything I want as long as I keep at it and keep a clear mind to know that I should never ever give up. This quote also mean that we have confidence that we gain more and more of everyday and that we have confidence that we need to use.

In the book 26a two identical twins Grace and Rachel. They discover their past when they go into the attic of their old house, they find out who their real father is and they discover secrets about each other that they didn’t even know. In the process of learning more about themselves, they also become really close to each other. I like this book because me and my little sister and close to each other and we are always there for each when we need a helping hand. I also find it cool how most identical twins have somewhat the same personally, but these two are the completely opposite. Grace likes the winter and Rachel likes the summer, one of them is very outspoken and the other one is very shy and quite. In the end they understand that they are two different people and they agree that no matter how different they are from each other they will always be sisters, and that they will always love each other. They also understand why they didn’t share their secrets and they accept the fact, that if they didn’t share their secrets they thought they would judge each other but they get past it and work things out.

The Adventures of April

In  book adventures of  April, is about this girl named April who goes on a journey to find her miss brother. I relate to this girl because I enjoy going on journeys, and going to new places, and I sometimes have to find my cousin when he wonders off. She is a character that isn’t afraid to speak her mind. I’m the same way if something isn’t right and I know it I will say something about it.  She is a very smart, and never let anything stop her, until she see the girl that always bullies her. She is scared of her still and she still lets her bully her. I think she should have said something to the girl, because I feel its not right how she always said something back to other people who talk about her but can’t say anything to the other girl who bullies her. I know she is scared but the only way to stop being scared of the girl is to say something to her, it’s a big step and she does eventually stand up to the girl. At the end everything is good between them and they end up becoming best of friends.

Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry

This is a very good book. It's a book about a family The Browns that moves to a new town, and no one in the new town made their living by making their own items and selling them anymore. The Brown's make a living by selling cotton and by making objects that people needed and by selling them. The other people in the town don't like them because they make their items they need. I really enjoy this book because it relates to my family, and because they are strong people who never give up. The weirdest part of the text would be how they used different letters and words to get the feel of how the people down south talks. I also learned from the text that different words mean the same thing just said differently. The book also made me mad by how the Brown's were treated. People were so mean to them, all because they made of living by making items and selling them. I read the book fast but there were parts when u had to slow down to get a feel for the setting of where it was happening at, and how the person may have felt when it started to happening. This was a really good book, and I feel like anyone can relate to this book.
